First off let me start by saying I am thrilled for all those that received their NOA2 notifications in the last few days. It is heartening but bitter sweet to see all those approvals because at least we know CSC is working and doing something.

Not to take anything away from those people who got approved, however it is very disheartening to see approvals coming in on people who submitted in April and May when there are so many of us waiting from early March. I can only hope that those of us still waiting see our approvals in next couple of days.

I dont know who made the decision how to proceed after the IMBRA delay but they definitly didnt take into consideration the waiting that some of us have had to put up with. I know that some cases are not as easy to approve but for those of us who have pretty straight forward cases it is very hard to sit and wait.

Again, congratulations to those who have received their NOA2s. I wouldnt wish the wait we have had on anyone and am very happy for all of you, just understand that those of still waiting may sometimes find it hard to be really happy about how it is being done.

I must say, it is difficult to try to be upbeat about all today's approvals out of CSC when I feel like somebody is holding my face down in the mud. I haven't seen any previously approved petitions that were recalled due to IMBRA [/u] in this long awaited flurry of activity (AKA signs of life) at CSC today. My fiance is depressed, I'm depressed, its too hot to sleep, I can't concentrate on my work, I compulsively check that friggin USCIS website every 15 minutes, holding my breath, waiting for just a touch - an update saying my petition has been reaffirmed apparently is way too much too expect. What the heck gives here? Je suis tres miserable.

I am also disappointed by that CSC did not take the original order. I hope those people who have been waiting from early March will get approvals in following couple of days.

I feel exactly the same way.

I am trying really hard to be happy for those with NOA1's and to think its ultimately a positive step. If it werent for all the support everyone has given each other, I doubt whether this small VJ community would care about each other on such a personal level.

But to have been waiting 4 months when others have waited less than half that, creating a situation where we have no idea how much longer, just screams of incompetence, and hurts like betrayal.

Now that they are actually releasing NOA2's, I'm completely unsure what I (we) should do about this. I mean, do we go off on CSC and demand that our petitions be expedited? I dont know...i'm just imaging a situation where everyone is so freaking happy and another 2 months pass while some March folks are just egging it on, routing for everyone, and basically getting f***ed in the background. Safe to say that is sort of what happened already.

I feel an obligation to join this rant thread, atleast to let other recalls and March NOA1's to know they are not alone. A few more days of this and I think some proactive steps might be called for. I could not possibly go weeks without information. What they are, I'm not sure.

Feeling increasing more helpless and betrayed.

I filed a detailed congressional complaint today with proof of what they are doing.

I realize that this does nothing...... but for them to be working on and approving June

petitions 1 minute before early March ones...... is simply unacceptable.

There are several possibilities.

Someone said that they had to sent work to Vermont from California..... the ones being completed

may have actually been done in Vermont.

The second thing is that all most of our petitions may have already been at some level of approval and they are handling the RFEs in mass.

I wish they were a business and I could charge them back for all the pain and expense that they have caused us because of their gross incompetence.

And yes.. it is incompetence.. that they were not ready for a law that had been signed over a year and a half before taking effect. I can only wish that some high level government service workers and now at home spending their days serfing the internet for jobs.. because that is what they deserve.

It is also simply unacceptable that people in New York can get approved in weeks and we have to wait 6 months.

I am really feel bad now. In my rant I didnt even take into consideration those of you that were recalled. I can only imagine how you all must be feeling. You and your fiancee must be going nuts and I understand completely. We all need to just hang in there and hope for the best, but it is so hard to remain positive thru all this. My apologies to you and those of you in the same situation, you are all in a worse situation and I didnt even think about it. My bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The CSC approvals appear to be completely random and with the sample data (approvals) that we have to date a definite conclusion can not be determine. However, it's obvious that the NOA1 receipt date is how CSC is approving the K1 petitions. I do speculate (what many of us have read) that CSC may be processing our petitions from the receipt date of the IMBRA RFE and possibly the completeness of the K1 petition. Once more petitions are approved from VJ members, we will hopefully be able to at least piece this puzzle together ourselves, which has been the case since the implementation of IMBRA.

NOTE: I would also like to extend my sympathies to all those folks who were recalled, and a my deepest sympathies to those with lost/missing fills due to the recall... That's heartbreaking.

I have yet to see a pattern in approvals based on RFE reciept date. None whatsoever.

Combine that with NOA1 randomness, and there doesnt seem to be any logic. Period.

What I would do to be a fly on the wall right now, and see CSC workers running around the office.

But...I dont want to distract from this specific thread....it is no longer a place for conspiracy theories as to WHAT they are doing or WHY, but HOW we are going to get some service and justice.

Recalls, and March NOA1's rant away, and perhaps we can funnel our anger into something useful! ;)

I am with you on that. I am pulling for the recalled people to get approved immediately.

What is happening to them is criminal. They should have been first ones out.

My apologies! I meant to write that CSC is obviously NOT processing by the NOA1 date. I am speculating that CSC is processing by the IMBRA RFE receipt date and possibly the completeness of our K1 petitions. I'm sure they (USCIS SC... specifially CSC) are not aware of this community, which is tracking their progress, and we ca NOT make pratical sense out of what they are doing whatsoever... At least, not yet.

GOODNESS!!!!

Ah dont worry. I appreciate the insight.

I'm just too exhausted to think about what is actually happening right now...all I want to do is either scream, or hibernate until its over!

I'm with William33 (I think we are even same timeline)...checking update ever 10 minutes, checking email, checking the posts....ahhh..to write all if it down in this thread atleast distracts for a few moments from expecting something to happen!!!!
