All in All, 2009 was a good year. I am still recovering from back surgery that I had Dec 21st, but I can't complain. Being happy and contented is all we need for 2010. Happy New Year to all of you!!!!

Looking back...what are the main big events that happened in your life during the year 2009?

Mine:

1.) Fighting cancer

2.) Moving away from home (Philippines)

3.) Reunited with my husband (USA)

4.) Pregnancy test (Positive)

What a year!!! It started awful but ends up with something good...something to look forward for the coming year. Goodbye 2009........Hello 2010! Happy New Year everyone! :)

Wow, nothing I can comment on will top that! Congratulations on the test!

This year passed by really quick. I enjoyed every moment of being together with my husband after 4 long years of LDR. I enjoyed adjusting to US, it didn't take a lot of effort but I was happy to be doing things on my own.

Job wise it wasn't a good year, been through a lot of disappointment professionally but hoping 2010 will finally get me somewhere more secure and something which I would enjoy doing.

I can't complain much though, I really had a good time all and all. I feel I connected more with my dad in emotional level now that I am living far away from him, so that has been a plus.

Here is hoping for a healthy and prosperous new year for everyone!

Thank you guys for all the wishes. Yea it was quite a year for me especially the first reason...but God is good. I thought I wanted to end my life there but thanks to my family and many friends who have inspired me to fight. Glad I made it, I survived!!! woohooo....and yeah I am being rewarded by having my husband next to me now and soon a baby to complete our home. The more trials we face and survive the more we appreciate life and every single little thing we have. If you think your life sucks maybe this is the right time for you to do some reassessment and make better decisions. :) Congratulations to all of us who made it to 2010. May God bless us all.

The biggest thing that happened this year was finally moving to the US to be with my fiance after a 5 year long distance relationship. :)

I also experienced what it was like to live on my own, having to fend for myself money wise. My parents assisted when I needed it, but they weren't just handing me everything anymore.
