Montreal Interview with explanation of a border denial.

Hello! I'm looking to get a general review of anyone's experience who went to an interview at Montreal and had to explain a border denial.

My fiance was denied entry because we were just stupid when it came to needing proof of ties back to Canada ( he lives 45 minutes north of border and traveled back and forth all the time for various reasons and never had a problem before). He wasn't fingerprinted or photographed and was told he could come back into the country in a few months. I feel very confident in the innonence of our denial, but I just would like to hear some experiences of others?

My man was denied entry into the US because of a 2 day overstay on the VWP(which had been on a trip 3 months prior). At his K-1 interview, he was asked about being denied-he explained he had bought the ticket for 10/26/05 to 1/26/06...........not realizing it was 92 days-hence-the overstay. They didn't even mention it again.

He was also denied a b-2 visa for not having sufficient ties to Ireland-since the K-1 is a different sort of visa-they didn't mention the b-2 denial.

I am sure you will be fine. Many people here have been refused entry/visitor's visa's and eventually got a K-1, so you shouldnt have a problem either.

Ditto for me. I would like some information too as I've been denied twice for not having suffience ties. I was fingerprinted and videotaped.
