1 month and 3 days now! When should I be expecting my husbands GC in the mail???

We never got the SSN/SSC and instead had to apply for one at the SSA office. And are now waiting for that to come in the mail. Everyone I've asked so far on VJ and otherwise has told me that I should be able to get the Greencard in the mail by a month after the POE. It has been a month now, and no sign yet. I was wondering if it had anything to do with business days....if so, how many more do I have to wait? What are the chances of us getting the GC in the mail very soon?

What happens if quite alot of time goes by and we don't get it? Lets say...hmm...2-3 months and no GC? What should we do then....who should we call and how would we inquire about it?

we are waiting for our GC too, its been 16days now since i get here. inshaAllah hopefully it will come this week or next.

After 90 days you can call and ask them if I recall correctly

With the holidays I would suspect that it is a bit slower to receive... I might guess about 6 weeks, if however at the 2 month mark you do not receive it, I would make an infopass appointment at the local USCIS and see what it up...

Mine POE was on December 14, my SSN arived yesterday in the mail and nothing about green card yet, so I waiting yet ...

I just checked my mail and we got a letter from the USCIS containing an I-797C Notice of Action. It says Notice Type: Welcome Notice. It also says that we should be receiving further correspondence from them in 30 days. If not, they tell us to contact them and use the A-number given on the NOA to inquire. It says that the receipt date of our packet from POE is December 22 2009 and the same under Notice date. Does this mean we will be getting our GC 30 days from the 22nd now? Rather than the actual POE? Is this letter about the GC?
