Hi, I came here on a visa waiver program and over-stayed for 5 years. I just got married recently but I have a child with my husband a few years ago. I handed in my AOS with my I-130 a week ago and they just cashed my check today. I was wondering, can they reject you after cashing your check? Or are you good to go from here?

You paid a 'processing' fee not an 'approval' fee.... cashing your check only means they have accepted your filing for processing... nothing more... Approval or denial comes later when the file is finally reviewed and a decision rendered...

I see.... Do you know if cases like mine gets rejected often?
