Andreia and Chris - I am suspecting they are trying to cut the US Embassy's a break. I believe it was "vartan" who noticed that the country locations of the approved petitions are staggered. Review the VJ timelines and check it out. Only a few countries have two or more petitions approved, which is very interesting and probably the only logical thing they have done. Although there is still not a pattern to the madness, at least there's some logic. Now if they could get the good feeling going again and push through more petitions, we'd all sleep a little easier. At least until we begin to thing about the visa interview. AHHHHHH!!!!

Uling,

You make a great councilor! :);)

sbgwolf1 - I will add that for us today! It appears that CSC also needs to strep it up for NSC transfers as well. When they do... I'm sure you are next! Thx!

I am just wondering if that could really be true because I haven't really seen any approved and sent to Morocco on your list. So they should be due some cases if that was infact the way they are handling things.

chery_fouad_forever - We are speculating on how CSC is executing the approval process thus far, and it's not an exact science. CSC is beating by their own drum. Save one fact, they are processing approvals by the RFE Receipt Date, but in what order.... WHO KNOWS!

I am suspecting they are trying to cut the US Embassy's a break. I believe it was "vartan" who noticed that the country locations of the approved petitions are staggered. Review the VJ timelines and check it out. Only a few countries have two or more petitions approved, which is very interesting and probably the only logical thing they have done.

I really doubt this is the case - remember VJ represents a very small portion of K1 visa applications. Most senator's offices have already confirmed that processing is based on RFE return date and NOA1 date - which makes some sense when you see that the first batch up RFEs returned with primarily March NOA1 dates are now being approved. There have been those odd and random May/June dates, but other than that, it seems to follow this general rule. Since both the NVC and the embassies have not been handling K1 paperwork processing or interviews for the past several months, they have already had the time to catch up and eliminate the backlog. CSC is not exactly in a position to hold petitions to help them out. Also, since the petition approval process is dictated by a series of steps, it seems unlikely that they could get away with separating by fiance's country. Then again, the only thing we all know for sure is there really is no way to explain anything that CSC has done for the past few months.

Hmm. I count 25 approvals in Uling's list, 11 of which are from March. Less than half hardly seems like a primary focus. I'd sleep better if it was more like 75% March approvals. Of course this is nowhere near to a representative sample. *Sigh* I haven't even been on VJ for two weeks and I obsess more about this craziness than I did before I found VJ. I can't even remember what I used to do in my spare time. I think I need a holiday and a hug ... lol ...

I have read some of your posts, therefore I am aware that you do have a strong grasp of the processes. However, the fact that CSC is processing any petitions before recalls is pure lunacy. Not to mention, I don't call 14 of 25 April/May/Jun approvals random (it's more incomprehensible), since we are a sample of the actual volume of petitions, I'm sure there are much much more. As far as anything else with this whole process, I'm simply speculating. Like most of us here, this was not apart of my world until I ran smack dead into it when I feel in love. I really appreciate your comments and I look forward to learning more from you and the other VJ members. Keep the faith!
