Wow, it is great to finally see so many approvals out of CSC! It definitely seems to have a correlation to RFE receipt dates ... all the of these approvals are for RFE's received in late June-July8th, almost a two week span (except Uzy ... RFE returned June 23rd?!), but the NOA1's are all over the map...more then two months span. *level of frustration rises* at this rate who knows when they'll get to mine, our RFE receipt date is July 24th: the CSC sent it out June 23rd but to the wrong address ... TWICE! I feel like our petition should be in with this pile ... but I hardly have a right to complain, what about all the returned petitions? Has ANY of them heard ANYTHING yet??

Chins up, guys, chins up...

One recalled petition has been approved... Mew's.

8-30-05 Met David at a restaurant in Germany

3-28-06 David 'officially' proposed

4-26-06 I-129F mailed

9-25-06 Interview: APPROVED!

10-16-06 Flt to US, POE Detroit

11-5-06 Married

7-2-07 Green card received

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

Geez, the only two from Nebraska have very close NOA1 dates...and they are way out of sync with the others.

Has any one noticed that the ones approved yesterday and today all have yesterdays date on them? It's almost like they approved more than they could get into the system yesterday and the emails can't keep up!

The email notificaions are being sent late at night and early in the morning. Why? Who knows? In fact, from what I can tell, they hardly tell us anything about who, why, what, when, and how... NO WAY!

"It's par for the course!"

My point is that none of the NOA2's had todays date on them! All from yesterday and today have July 25 as the approval date. Surely they approved petitions today, why didn't they have July 26 on them? I think it's like the IMBRA RFE's a while back. I got mine in the mail 2 days before I got the email telling me they sent it! I am thinking that they have a lot more that have been approved and the emails just haven't gone out yet. I have a picture in my head of a 25 year old IBM mainframe computer that has less power than a calculator that they are using. It just can't keep up!

I have a suspicion that the emails are sent in batch jobs.... there's a certain time span of petition processing that probably gets bundled and then emails are triggered for them at a pre-determined time. It's not unusual for an IS Dept. to postpone non-critical processing to late evening hours when mainframe servers are less busy, leaving them free during business hours for the more important business that adjucators engage in... like solitaire and monitoring VJ. ;)
