My question is, my fiance has recieved a blue slip and have to send guangzhou a complete resume of her work history of all her job titles and promotions. When she sends these to Guangzhou, what will happen next, will they set up another interview date, will she need to go back to guangzhou? How do they handle these blue slips?

Tom, we need to know what the BLUE SLIP said exactly..... what boxes were marked??? Also, is that the only paper she received?

Usually, a blue slip wil have info on 'how to return the requested info' . Firstly, follow those instructions.

then?

If they did NOT keep her passport on interview day, THEN

Later, she'll receive a letter stating the outcome of the review, and if it's positive, then

she'll be instructed to COME IN - sometimes it's a calendar date, sometimes a day of the week with a time range - it all depends... But, she'll come in, hand over the passport, then wait a few days for the stamp to be applied, and the whole packet mailed to some address, where she has to pick it up.

If they DID keep her passport on interview day, Then

Most is the same, except for having to show up at the Consulate again.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
