Hi there.

My case was completed on the 22/12/09 and we're in the process of waiting for an interview date. Just a quick question. In june, while we were in the process of the NVC, my wife and I visited the USA for a wedding. At the time, i used a different passport to my Irish one, as I am a dual citizen, and had no problems entering for the two weeks.

I know in the interview they will ask the last time I was in the states etc, so what do I say? Do i say 'June 09' even though there is no stamp in my Irish Passport..... I want to be honest with them, but if they're just asking about my passport being used for entry, then I haven't used in since before we filed....I did have my fingerprints taken obviously, so they will know I am the same person at POE. I don't want any problems.

ANy help would be MUCH appreciated!

Thank you

The ground rule for any immigration process is: DO NOT LIE. I say be honest about it and possibly bring your irish passport.

EDIT: It double posted me.

Thank you! I do not want to lie and I am not planning on it. What I am asking is, will this cause problems at the interview stage, and is there anything I can do to help matters now?

I don't see any issues with visiting the USA during your process if you entered on a valid visa, didn't overstay and had no intentions to circumvent the immigration process.
