Hey, I hope everyone is doing well... So, we were progressing on the CR-1 path, and shows up a letter from the US Consulate in Chennai, a Packet 4 with interview date for K3. WOW! Superfast! So, I think since the interview is January 22, 2010 we will just go down the k3 path. I was surprised to see that Chennai just goes straight to interview after recieving the case from NVC...

Anyone know how long it will take for PCC and Police certificate in Hyderabad?

My wife is not from Hydrabad but I have read topics related to it.

I think Passport PCC takes about 2 weeks.

After getting Passport PCC, Local PCC takes 2 to 3 days once you submit the Passport PCC to your local Police office.

Congrats and good luck with the interview process and the rest!

I'm totally surprised that Chennai sent the packet 4 WITH the interview date. I always thought that you had to fill the packet 4, send it in and then wait for the interview date. I've also filed for K3 for my wife through Chennai; hope it comes the same exact way.

I noticed that your interview was on the 22nd. How did it go??? Best of luck!!!

For K3, Chennai does not send a packet 3 they only send packet 4... so good luck.

Did not have interview since the Passport was at the RPO and you need the passport to enter the consulate. Have to re-schedule.
