Hi, well i dont think u are the only one on this situation. but if u wanna make an infoPass, u can go for it. maybe they will help u. as i advice u, Yes go make an infoPass. just for peace of mind.

According to Emilio, the forced to resign director of the USCIS, at the discretion of the officer doing the preliminary check on your N-400, may look up your last set of fingerprints and use those if they are less than 15 months, but will still cost you the 80 bucks regardless if they don't do that and send you a biometrics appointment.

Receiving that letter may be good or bad news, good that you have an indication that you passed the preliminary, bad if you have to take a day off of work to drive 450 miles to get yet another set of fingerprints taken. They don't take your photo this time, but the price is the same. With whatever means how they determine your biometrics appointment, I think they pull dates out of a hat, our last set was only eleven months old, but had to make that same long trip again, for the 3rd time.

So not getting a biometrics appointment could be good to save you a bunch of money if you have a long distance to travel. But the bad news, is they don't tell you if they are using your old ones, so you just wait until your interview letter comes in. Best not to think about it and go on with your life.

Sorry to hear about your situation about not getting the fingerprints/biomterics, despite sending in your file awhile ago.

And yes, if you haven't heard further from them in 30 days, as stated on your NOA letter, you have every right to contact them about fingerprints too...

Could it also be that your particular local office is busy, and are overall scheduling oaths later than usual, despite anyone's circumstances?

Unfortunately, there isn't much else to do now, other than to wait it out.

You can also try going to an infopass appointment, which could be more of help to you there too to further inquire about your case from the USCIS, and who knows, maybe you can get your fingerprints done then too while you are there (this happened to VJ user Onuche, whose fingerprints were also delayed too).

Hope the wait isn't too much longer for you. Good luck for you getting your fingerprint letter soon too.

If longer than 30 days from your NOA1 call them and do a service request for a fingerprinting appointment.
