haha, just saw the movie "Its Complicated"

The premise is a divorced couple have an affair with eachother 10 years later when one is re-married

Emmett Fitz-Hume: I'm sorry I'm late, I had to attend the reading of a will. I had to stay till the very end, and I found out I received nothing... broke my arm.

If you walk into a dark cave and something in there pounds the living ####### out of you, you were ignorant, but much wiser than before.

If you walk in again, you are just plain stupid, because you didn't learn anything the first time.

Wise people do not have regrets.

Relationships aren't like those "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger" things in the rest of your life. If you broke up, it was for a good reason. It's best to not get back together because eventually, you'll find all those reasons you broke up are still there and if they're not - some alternate reasons will be.

As said above though - it's still perfectly acceptable to have sex with them!

He's my ex for a reason. And he can't possibly compare and come out winning against my husband. Which is why P is my husband...

Ex called and wanted to come over to satisfy her needs as she put it. Really wasn't into screwing someone that just screwed the hell out of me.

(True story)

When I was in the Peace Corps in Ethiopia I flew with a helicopter pilot who was a WWII vet (shot down in a bomber over Yugoslavia).

After he killed a local farmer in self-defense, he was captured by Marshal Tito's "freedom fighters" and allowed to go back to the

Allied lines because he was a pilot in the war against Germany. Although Tito was a communist he was allied with the west as

were the Soviets.

Robin used to say (about divorce):

"The time to get out is when the fuçking you're getting is not worth the fuçking you're getting"

I was 22 years old at the time and didn't know shyte.

edit:

I forgot to mention Robin's nationality was Canadian and he flew for the RAF.

I've met some great gals over my entire life, One way or the other things didn't work out, In this case i really never bashed or trashed talk any ex gfs, because they were nice person but when you have 2 different personalities at time things just don't work out.

i am a really patient person and I would give it more than 110% to make it work, but ONCE I AM FED UP AND MOVE, that's it it's over and done with, at time the person would realise what they had because things always look greener on the the other side, the sad thing, they had to bite the bullet to learn the lesson. Most of them if i past by them in the street we would say hi, give a nice hug, at time they'll say i am really sorry for the way i've treated you, could you forgive me, I always tell them I did, I don't live in the past.

Life a is a Lesson, you learn and you move on, Those past experiences taught me to be a little bit more patient, because i would ask myself maybe a little bit longer and the person would realise what kind of person she has, but It never works, things had to break up for the person to realize that and then a couple months later begging for another chance, by then i don't want to say i am bitter but I am already Wayyyy past that, and I don't have any regrets.
