I would send them an email saying that pkt 4 has not arrived... they may email yo a copy of pkt 4 or they may ask the beneficiary to come pick it up at the conslate.

Tonight is too soon for her to go down to HCMC for the vaccintions and medical. she will fly down either this Sunday or the next and will do vaccinations, visa fee and shopping on Monday and Cho Ray on Tuesday... shold be able to get reslts Tuesday afternoon or Wed morning... I may need to have her mother go with her

My interview is on Jan. 20 and I still have not receive anything from the consulate, paper for medical appointment. Should I worry?

call 202-663-1225.. then press1, 5, and then 0... that will get you through to a nice lady or another CSR that has access to the same computer system that HCMC uses... She can see if pkt 4 was sent, pkt 3 was recieved and even see if the interview has been scheduled and what date... a 3 or 4 minute call can give you a little peace of mind

With K1 , you have to wait for Packet 4, if you write email to them, may be they will send for you other Packet 4, you need the interview appointment letter for go to take vaccin and medical exam. Cho Ray now is cleaner and nicer than before. she take on tuesday if her X.tray lung and blood test are ok, she can go pick up the result on Wed afternoon from 2:00pm. yes, her mother should go with her, if take vaccin ,may be she will get fever little. she should not eat breakfast before test blood.

I got the interview appointment letter from NVC two months ago, that's how I know when is my wife interview. So I just need to make an appointment with Cho Ray hospital for medical exam and don't need to wait for anything from the Consulate? I thought the consulate will send my wife a package for medical appointment. Thank you for your help.

wouldn't it be nice if all of the other aspects of the system were so accomodating? Johns wife said the bus ride from Can Tho svcked.. I guess we are fortunate that at least there is air travel from HaNoi to HCMC...

I just happened to be there today getting a physical for work. What a madhouse.

Thuy agrees with your assessment.. madhouse... she was asked questions about me at the vaccinations yesterday and then again today at the medical, Cho Ray...My address, Phone, Emaill... she forgot to bring her passport to the hospital as it was being held at the hotel and had to run to the hotel to get it and avoid being delayed until tomorrow...

She talked to several other women there that were going to interview soon and 1 had already interviewed.... she talked to her about the interview and she was really caught off guard when one girl noted that she had been asked about sex and her SO and sleeping with other men before they met... I told her they must be married already... too impolite of a question for a fiance'... she picks up results tomorrow... they said she is in great shape so we are hoping that we dont end up in the same situation as Ronnie and Hang
