Ok I know I'm ahead of myself here and I know this has been probably covered 100 times over but here goes....What happens if you use only phone cards to call your husband and have nothing but used cards as proof? I have chat records up the wazoo dating back to October 2004 and about a dozen or so emails. Is that enough?

We didn't have any phone records as proof. Here's what our proof was and it was just fine:

About 20 pictures of us together, with my family and his family

Airline ticket stubs for all my trips to Egypt

Photocopies of several cards and envelopes that we sent to each other

A print screen shot of our email inboxes at various stages in our relationship

A few emails culled from various stages in our relationship

We also had a rather lengthy proof of intention to marry that detailed how we met, our evolving relationship and our plans for the future.

Thanks Rahma!

I have bunches of pics of Mohamed and I together and with his family. I can print out the emails that he sent me and he can print what I sent him. He has a folder in his hotmail titled "my beautiful wife"..awwwww! I have two sets of airline tickets/boarding passes. I don't want to print out all of our chat records but I can print out a few here and there in which we discuss marriage and what not. Do you think that's sufficient?

Do you have any letters that you sent each other in the mail? The officer liked those. Do you have anything from your wedding, like a marriage contract, wedding pictures, rings, etc?

What you have should be sufficient. Anyone else who's been through Cairo more recently or for a K-3 have anything to input?

We have our marriage contract but copies of that have been including in our K3 applications already. We have rings and in many of our photos they are evident. We both wear our wedding rings at all times. We have photos of our wedding party..I wasn't wearing a traditional wedding dress, just a fancy galabiya but it's apparent that it's a wedding in the pics (cake cutting, sharing of the cake, kissing). These photos include many family members..mom, dad, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbors. We haven't sent each other anything in the mail. We're not snail mail ppl :) I do have the two envelopes from DHL in which he sent me documents.

I used phone cards too and I included the receipts of them from my email in the packet I sent to my fiance. Even though they don't have any phone numbers or anything I still included them because I used them to call Hicham and they Officer did look at them.

I made a photo album with about 50 photos all labeled.

I also included a few emails from the first year of our relationship then about one email a week from the last time I had visited him up until his interview to prove an ongoing relationship.

I also put orginal ticket stubs from all my trips and itineraries/receipts as well as email confirmations. I made copies of my passport with stamps too. He also had receipts from hotels with him, a letter from a friend saying she had met us together and skype history printouts for the 3 months we were apart up until the interview.

Good luck!

Our journey was through Morocco but as to the phone bill, I included only one. It showed a day's worth of trying to get through with no connection. I put a statement on there that was why I used phone cards instead of the home phone. Of course, now that he has been here for over a year, I've learned IDT has great records and it costs less. He now uses it to keep in touch with family and friends back in Morocco.

As to chat records, I sent a log of the two years we chatted with two samples of each month. I told him if they needed more, pick any date and we would supply it. No need to print out that much and they not even look at it. We also had about 80 pictures, letters, cards, and such to show we kept up our relationship. He also showed them his fiance ring and I had included a new intent to marry letter.

Good Luck!

Doreen
