Hello all, My name is Matt and I'm doing a K1 visa for my fiance in Thailand. I just sent off my I-129F on 12/22/09 and figured I should make my first thread about it. I have been anxious to get this started since I returned from Thailand in August. But I had to finalize my divorce and etc in order to start the K1 process. So now everything is starting on its way and we are both very excited. Just thought I'd tell about my story a little bit to everyone and if they have any advice in advance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys and take care.......... :dance:

Hey thanks alot.....Nice avatar by the way. Grand palace Emerald Buddah right? My fiance and I have pics of us standing right there next to I believe they are demons or something Im not sure really...I visited the palace when I was there in July-August!!! Well take care to ya!!!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your fiancee!

My wife and I went through the K1, then the AOS, and are now going through the removal of conditions to get her 10 year green card. Considering that you're filing for K1...you'll be going through these same steps. Patience...that is my advice...oh ya, and save your cash! You're going to need it :lol:

Where are you in Texas? I grew up in Amarillo and Dallas...my parents still live in Dallas. We love Texas and get back there every once in while...

Welcome aboard, Matt. I, too, jettisoned the old nag hag bag recently, and will soon be the recipient of my asian email order bride. They can't be beat! They know how to treat their man and be traditional. I do hope to take her to thailand one day, and see the huge golden buddah belly. Good luck, and I bet you are missing your girl beyond words, and already planned your next trip on the flight home. Cheers!

Kinda sux I had to file at the end of the year as the uscis probably wont look at my I-129f till after the new year, lol. ..as well as inaccurate. He is obviously confusing the Chinese (Mahayana) Buddha statues with the Thai (Theravada) Buddha statues. I guess we shouldn't expect too much from someone who has so little respect for women.

We met online on www.thailovelines.com on april 20th 2009. I then flew to Thailand on july 17th till august 1st(sadest day of my life)!!!!!! We will be together again soon, this time forever!!!!!

I found out lastnight my check was cashed...got my case # off the back of it and can now check my status on the USCIS website. Also recieved my return reciept for my I-129f packet today. So happy to see things happening for us finally, but I still have a very long way to go! Happy New Year to everyone!!!!!!! :dance:
