My case was denied because of abandonment (USPS returned RFE from USCIS stating undeliverable) on 12/09/2009

The case number they referenced was the one on the notice of action when they received my original I751 packet

After Infopass appt and consulting a lawyer I filed motion to reopen on 12/12/2009

check for $585 was cashed on 12/22/2009

then I got a email update that the new card production was being made on 12/23/2009 with a different case number I got on the biometric appointment letter.

What does this mean?

I filed for motion to reopen because I never received RFE,

and they ordered the green card right after cashing the check for motion to reopen?

Could this be possible?

They don't need the RFE that I've never received at the first place?

Could this be some sort of glitch?

There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all . . . . The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities, an intricate knot of German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English-Americans, French-Americans, Scandinavian-Americans or Italian-Americans, each preserving its separate nationality, each at heart feeling more sympathy with Europeans of that nationality, than with the other citizens of the American Republic . . . . There is no such thing as a hyphenated American who is a good American. The only man who is a good American is the man who is an American and nothing else.

It looks like she just donated $585 to USCIS!!!!

The biometrics letter receipt number is the one we go after... so if that is the receipt then it looks like they approved you. The only questionable part is the sequence of events.

Once you receive your card, I suggest getting another Infopass appointment and check on the status of the ROC (make sure it is approved in their system) and check on the status of the "motion to reopen a case" and see if that was the factor that got your ROC approved.

Hope this helps

I made an INFOPASS appt to get a stamp on my passport on Monday,

and it's funny, because I got another notice that they've sent out the approval letter for I751.

But at the mean time, my newly filed I290B appeal is still being touched.

Do I need to call them and notify them that my I751 has been approved?
