Q - about I864....

21. Your Household Size - DO NOT COUNT ANYONE TWICE

Part 5. Sponsor's household size.

Persons you are sponsoring in this affidavit:

a. Enter the number you entered on line 10. - 1

Persons NOT sponsored in this affidavit:

b. Yourself. 1

c. If you are currently married, enter "1" for your spouse.

For 21c - I am sending 864 for my wife, I have entered her one time in 21a

Should I also add her in 21 c?

I am making sense. Please let me know :innocent:

No just count her on 1. If you do it twice then you will have too many dependants.

It is more aimed at if you have children or others that you count as a dependant.

Any chance we can send off the DS3032 email before receiving anything from NVC? I mean, technically, we have the case #--so would there be a problem?

Don't send anything until they ask for it. As it was explained before, it's like trying to pay for a bill before you get the actual bill. It will mess them up.

We sent ours email and snail mail. I wanted to make sure that they got it one way or the other!

I agree with And_Sam... I don't think they'll accept it before the bill is generated... Also, when it comes time for the IV fee bill, wait until NVC sends you an email regarding it (which is usually within a business day after it shows up on the website)

Good luck...

damn!, AVR just inform me that a financial document is missing from my docs and that a checklist has been sent to me, what the heck could that be? I sent all all docs, the only thing missing is my 2007 W2 which i mistakenly sent the original to NVC last year for my 1st appl. and my thought is that only current year tax and W2 matters most, what kind of headache they want to give me now? OMG, we'll see what they want by monday at least.

Quick question, will the representative be able to tell me what is missing or I will have to wait to receive the mail, plus why are they not sending the check list via e-mail like the rest of the communications?

they really ruined my day, i wasn't even expecting any communication from them till 2 weeks time. this is shocking and annoying, i cannot imagine what else they are asking for after all the docs that i sent to them. thanks for the response, i really hope that this journey will not destroy me. i will call them on monday morning to find out what they want and why they did not send an e-mail instead of the snailmail. I do not think you should get any more RFE, the DS230 is a simple package compared to the AOS which really digs one's life.

As soon as I heard on the AVR that we had a RFE I called immediately to find out what it was!!! I couldn't wait for an email, snail mail or however they were going to send me the checklist!!

But, I did get the email the very next night, which was good because they want you to send in the RFE letter in with the documents that were missing....

Total agreement Sachinky!! :thumbs::thumbs:

It's almost just as mind blowing..either waiting for a "touch" at USCIS or all the action in NVC...hmmm I'd take the NVC!!:thumbs:
