Ugh, I realy hope NVC got My RFE and thats it ok. and i get mny case complete this week. Its annoying i can get threw to an OP to make sure and see whats going on.

Im sorry. The attached sheet. Like on the DS-230 part on were you put the address info i would but next to it (See attached letter) and write down the Locations that you stayed theat you stated before.

Don't worry, I just had alot of options in my head, haha!

I was thinking thats the way I should do it, Put like under the stated adresses on the DS-230 - "Please see attachmentsheet for the gaps". And then list the other adresses there..(on the attachmentsheet)

Gotta take a look if it'll fit under the adresses on the actual DS-230... or if I have to fill out a new one and send to my hubby.

What do you guys think of that idea?

I really don't want to waste time with getting an RFE on this.

Take care!

YAY!!! Diane I am so happy for you and the Scot!!!:dance::dance:

Now you and David, Finn and her man....boy I better get an approval too!!! :innocent::innocent:

Now when is he coming for good??? :star:

He moves the 8th. It will be exactly 7 monhs since our wedding.

I hope you guys have a nice interviewer too. It was not bad at all. It was very relaxed and we answered a few questions and were on our way. The funny ting is everything she asked could be found in our file. So either they dont look or they are double checking to be sure you don't change your answer.

Congrat's David'sgirl.

And yes, if your case isn't 100% straightforward and you can afford the legal fees, then I'd certainly recommend going with a lawyer.

But just to fill up your name/address/date of birth -- things you'd have to write down and provide to your lawyer anyway? I think not.

Thanks. I shared a plane ride home last night with people travelling from Mumbai to London to Boston. The lady beside me said she had been travelling for 27 hours! I had no idea you had to come on such a long journey. It will certainly be worth it in the end though.

Before we began the process I was intimidated by the paperwork and considered a lawyer. Now that we have completed the process without even one RFE, I am so glad we never wasted the money. The guides are very helpful and so are the instructions on government website and of course all the good advice from people on here. :)

ah, i see. my wife does not make more than above the 125% because of certain cicumstances. Her mother is going to be a joint sponsor.

My wife has her tax transcripts, but still need to organise our joint's info/details/paperwork etc :)

Edit: and, i meant to order them from IRS, how long until we receive them? thanks again!!

I faxed a request and it took about 2 1/2 weeks for them to arrive. Like Andrea said it might be best to phone for them if you are in a rush.

That is so great!!! Well I am getting myself ready because I know what ever they say at the interview we are looking at AP/AR or both...

But hey, I'll just go over there again if I have too!!!

Ok,so I might have found a potential problem with my DS-230 (which is in the hands of my husband in the US).

On the section where you list your adresses where you have lived for more then 6 months I have done just that. The problem is that the gaps between the stated adresses is at one point longer then 6 months.

The thing is, I lived in Germany for 2 years, which is stated, then I lived for 3 months in Sweden then for another 2 1/2 months in Germany, then about 2 months in Sweden and then 3 months in Austria. Which makes the gap about 10 months, but none of the places were for more then 6 months.

I today saw that someone was issued a RFE for having a +6 month gap on their DS-230 and was requested to send in a new, changed, Part 1.

How should I do?

We have not sent anything in yet so it's not to late to fix this but I'm not sure how?

Should I write an attachmentsheet listing the less then 6 months adresses as explanation or should I just write them all down on the form or what should I do?

And I thought I was so sure I did everything right.

Good thing I caught it before it was sent in atleast!

All suggestions are very much appreciated!!

Take Care guys!

Why don't you just put all the places on there that you have lived and not have a gap of time on there? I know they are going to be looking at the time frames and see any time that is missing and may cause a RFE. Do you have to get a police report for every country you have lived??:blink:
