NVC January 2010 Edition!!

Q for the pros -

I have paid I-864 fee (AOS) bill online and it shows PAID on line.

I could not print I-864 barcoded cover sheet, when I clicked "print document cover sheet". The pdf is coming as BLANK.

I have read from "VJ Guide" in case of on-line payment, NVC will NOT mail petitioner any barcoded coversheet for I-864.

Any one has this issue before?

What should I do except for waiting for NVC snail mail?

I would wait and try again later. Or even possibly from another computer. Once you get it via email they don't send you anything snail mail...

What do you mean to receive all of these? Do you mean the ones that will be distributed for 2009? Or when are you suppose to gather them up for the I-864? If you are the petitioner and submitting in the I-864, if you supply an IRS transcript, then you don't need to submit in the 1099, W2s and etc...

That is if you qualify by being above the proverty line by 125%

ah, i see. my wife does not make more than above the 125% because of certain cicumstances. Her mother is going to be a joint sponsor.

My wife has her tax transcripts, but still need to organise our joint's info/details/paperwork etc

Edit: and, i meant to order them from IRS, how long until we receive them? thanks again!!

Ok, now I understand!!!

It takes about 2 weeks to get the transcripts after you order them. I did it on the phone, it seemed to be the quickest way at the time. I didn't want to snail mail it to them because I figured 3 days there, processing time then 3 days back...ya know what I mean, an extra week I didn't want to wait!!!

Mike--Does your wife live with her mother? If yes, she will fill in an I-864A, if they live separately, then she will fill in a I-864.

Your wife, regardless of income, will fill an I-864.

If you have a fax number, you can get them very quickly. I got mine in about 1 hr after I ordered them from IRS.

Ok,so I might have found a potential problem with my DS-230 (which is in the hands of my husband in the US).

On the section where you list your adresses where you have lived for more then 6 months I have done just that. The problem is that the gaps between the stated adresses is at one point longer then 6 months.

The thing is, I lived in Germany for 2 years, which is stated, then I lived for 3 months in Sweden then for another 2 1/2 months in Germany, then about 2 months in Sweden and then 3 months in Austria. Which makes the gap about 10 months, but none of the places were for more then 6 months.

I today saw that someone was issued a RFE for having a +6 month gap on their DS-230 and was requested to send in a new, changed, Part 1.

How should I do?

We have not sent anything in yet so it's not to late to fix this but I'm not sure how?

Should I write an attachmentsheet listing the less then 6 months adresses as explanation or should I just write them all down on the form or what should I do?

And I thought I was so sure I did everything right.

Good thing I caught it before it was sent in atleast!

All suggestions are very much appreciated!!

Ugh, I realy hope NVC got My RFE and thats it ok. and i get mny case complete this week. Its annoying i can get threw to an OP to make sure and see whats going on.

Im sorry. The attached sheet. Like on the DS-230 part on were you put the address info i would but next to it (See attached letter) and write down the Locations that you stayed theat you stated before.
