NVC January 2010 Edition!!

I hope i get a case complete this week.

I dremt that NVC sent me another RFE saying that the marrige certeficate i sent in was on the wrong type of paper, and that i had to send another one. I lost my mind and i told them off. then my hubby called em and yelled at them then i tryed to log into the payment site and it said log in failed and when i called to ask they said its cuz my husband an i were rude so they removed are case from there system, and if we wanted him to come to america we had to start it all over.

Lol, its like all i dream about is NVC and it drives me Crazy! I just want to be done and get a March interview. so i wont have to think about this any more.

OMG MQ!! That is a nightmare!!! See this is how much this whole journey weighs on your mind. I still have nightmares about this whole thing!!! Thank god it was only a dream!! LOL or the next thing you will know they will want certain kind of paper!!! :unsure:

Congratulations Lash!!! If she got a new PC how long would it take to get it? Maybe turn in the one that you have and still have her get another one to have and take to the interview.....Have it as a back up in case it does come back? I know you don't want to delay your time at NVC.... :unsure:

yeah...she is gonna try to fix that on monday...lets see what happens...hopefully its a quick fix..cuz I know..NVC is just looking for small things like this to delay cases and waste time....

woah...that is some nightmare...I assure you it can't come true...NVC can NOT deny visas...your visa has already been approved....the worst they can do is waste time and actually thats what they do best..but yours should be ending anytime now...

Inshallah, it will. Im gonna call em Monday and keep calling them.

My sister in law already got her Interview date for March. But they started a year before us so i think im doing pretty good. And my cousin i told you about that started more then a year ago. she kept calling em and they finnaly told her that they lost something and she had to re-send it so she did so i hope we and both get a March Interview.

Its possible for me to get a March Interview right?

Hey Guys!

I just called the AVR and got my casenumber!!

I thought it was gonn take longer cause I had a touch on the USCIS website on the 21st so I figured that´s when they sent it...I was a little p***** off that it took them a week from approval to actually sent it but I was apparently wrong.. haha!

Now I just hope there is a chance to get through to the NVC tomorrow so we can give them our e-mail addresses.

The way it looks like now the Haiti-crisis is taking up alot of their time. And I'm actullay OK with waiting if it means some relife to them. (meaning the haitians here being able to work and send money back home)

Well, that dose not mean it not there. Till today the AVR ladys tell me its not on file yet. when clearly it is haha. i spent longer then a weeks calling the AVR to see if they got my case with nothing till i called and spoke with an NVC "live" person and they told me its been there for a while lol.

1. DS-3032 - form that is on state.gov is expired (12/31/2009). Does anyone have the format for electronic lodgement?

2. AVR # to call?

I already have the DS230 Part I & II complete but the Sydney Consulate does not have the choice of agent to d/load (prolly coz it's NVC). Anyway ... thank you!!

Technically, the visa isn't approved until it makes it to the embassy level. In turn they can put you into Additional Processing or even Additional Review, to where it can be sent back for more reviewing. I'm not sure if it goes back to the NVC or DOS but I do know by reading other threads that it has to be finally approved at the embassy level. So going through the NVC is just getting you prepared for the last hurdle, the embassy...

I hope everyone had a restfull weekend. I had to go to the other side of the state to get my big suitcase and luggage scale from my daughter. I can't believe that I'm going to see my honey soon!!! And of course, the interview!!! But, again, I am not letting myself get worked up for the interview. I know Cairo isn't going to be handing him a visa as soon as it is over as much as I wish and pray!!!
