gotcha! Ms Sheka :)

Can I have a little clarification here? I paid my AOS fee and it shows as PAID.

However - I emailed back the DS-3032 and have not gotten confirmation that it has been accepted.

Do I still go ahead with mailing back the AOS packet with the cover sheet I have already printed?

Thanks for the help

If the AOS bill has been paid and you can print out the barcoded cover sheet, then have at her and send the AOS to NVC. When your DS-3032 is accepted, your IV bill will be available to be paid. That's the best way to know whether or not the DS-3032 has been accepted.

Both are separate but simultaneou processes.

Once your DS3032 is accepted, your IV bill will be generated.

That has nothing to do with your AOS.

Good luck!

That's what I was trying to get out!!! Can't think straight while at work!!! Too many interruptions!!:whistle::blush:

Look under the guide section for the NVC...it shows you how the petitioner and beneficiary's paperwork is separate then comes together at the end!!

I posted this in another post.... might be of use in keeping things straight!

For anyone confused about NVC, the formula is this

Petitioner = Get NVC # + receive AOS fee bill + pay 70$ online + wait to show paid + print cover sheet + send 854 AOS with all documents and case # written on each page

Benificerary = Get NVC# + receive 3032 + send 3032+ 3032 accepted + IV fee bill available to be paid + pay and wait to show paid + print IV cover sheet + mail 230 package with all original/certified documents

======= wait for case complete + wait for interview to be scheduled

I think your formula should be put under the guide lines for "what to expect after getting NOA2 at USCIS".

I bet we could come up with a nice format for it!! :star:

Thanks Lash!!!

Don't worry, your case will be there soon!!! I think mine took close to 2 weeks...give or take a day :unsure: This is the time you use to get all the paperwork together so you will have them when they ask for them!!!

I had my husband fill out the ds-230 while I was waiting and print it out and sign the first page so I would have it by the time they wanted it sent in...

Good luck and God speed through NVC!!! :star:

thanks ...good luck in your interview...my wife should be mailing police certificate, ds-230, and everything else I need tomorrow...so I will have it when they ask me..I think.....

but seriously...me and you got the worst of it.....some people like mssheka:P got their case at NVC in 2 days...lol...yo mssheka..no offense ok..I am happy for you..really...I don't have the docs ready anyways..

after reading what mssheka is gone through with this wait.....my wait seems nothing to me...Good luck to all

Sometimes people mail in their AOS and DS230 packets together in order to ensure no false RFE.

I've been lurking on these message boards for the past few months and have read, and read, and read everything that has been posted. I do empathize with everyone who has been held up in the process and hope everything works out for all.

I feel fortunate with how things have gone for us so far - no major delays. We built in all these multi month waits into our expectations.

However - that being said - unlike a lot of the folks here who are away from their spouses - I get to spend weeks at a time with my wife since my job allows me to work from any location in the world (once there is high speed internet).

So I spend a week and a half in the office and then head off overseas to stay with the wife for 2-3 weeks and then return to the U.S.

I just thought I'd share my story seeing that I just am using everyone for info and not giving much back. maybe i will stick around after the process to help out the new folks :)
