R EFFIN E!!!...checklist for missing document proof of US residence or Citizenship for co-sponsor

OH NO!!! Didn't you include the proof of US Citizenship of your co-sponsor? It is in the instruction of the I-864! I am so sorry but hopefully soon you will be done with this.

I have a co sponsor as well...I wasn't gonna send one..but now I guess I better...they would also want the copy of the biographic page of the passport of the main sposor/petitioner? right?

Did you call the NVC and listen to the AVR? That will give you your case number. Just put in your receipt number from your NOA2. Then call NVC and talk to an OP and give them your and your SO email address.

It usually take about 10-14 days for your case to get from the USCIS to the NVC.

I called and asked them because i was getting mixed info from them they claimed all they needs was the tax docs

They like RFE's :-) It doesn't matter in your case tho since you didn't send DS-230. Don't get frustrated

NVC still doesn't have my case yet...I got approved on the 13th...there was a touch on the 14th..which means they mailed my case on the 14th......how long is it gonna take for them to get the case???

It usually takes a couple of weeks...just keep calling the NVC and listen to the AVR, you can put in your receipt number from the USCIS to find out what your case number is....

I know, waiting so long at the USCIS, ,makes you impatient now!!!

Hi guys,just a quick question here, just want to make sure I got it right.

If we include the IRS tax transcripts for the last 3 years with the I-864 we do not have to send tax returns and W2´s etc right?

So it would just be the tax transcripts, employment letter and paystubs? (supporting documents)

(we are not using a co-sponsor)

Oh man!

Few things are as frustrating as the dreaded RFE

its ok i have the stuff they should have told me i needed it because i asked

if i were you i would send it all because they will say you don't have to and then give you a RFE for it

So the tax transcripts alone are not enough?

Then what is all the required supporting documents?

I have read the guides but they are just not adding up to me...maybe it's just to late over here.

Hopefully some one will be so kind to answer and I'll have a better understanding of it when I'v gotten some sleep

You know this is the second time that I heard someone call the NVC to clarify something and come to find out it wasn't correct...I just wonder if they do this just to tick people off....

This is why I waited to get the stupid RFE letter and sent that in with mine instead of sending in the coverletter for the ds-230...WHICH they told me I could do but I wasn't taking any chances!!!

Did you get the OP name?? I would definitely put that on the coverletter too. Only because that way they can trace back who told you to do that. I swear it's like they play games...

Only you and MQ can do away with a RFE in less than one day!!! I swear it took me a dog gone month!!!
