Its ok but on the cover sheet i dont think i wrote it that small lol. but i dont think the size should matter.

Oh, i hope it takes less time for when i send mine.

Ni I meant that it should be somewhere on the actual marriage certificate, in case they lose the cover letter!!! Put it in big letters on the cover sheet... But I put the case # on EVERY piece of paper and document I sent to NVC!!!

This was the third page...so recap, 1st page was the introductory letter, 2nd page was the cover letter with the barcode and address and this is the 3rd page.....

I really hope this helps you MQ but to be honest even though the OP told I could use the cover letter for the ds-230, I got the email that night showing what EXACTLY was missing from the packet (my husband's arabic birth certificate) so I was glad I didn't mail out the RFE with just the cover letter for the ds-230 because it states they wanted the WHOLE letter included...

I hope you get your email tonight too!!!

Once I got the paperwork send in, it took exactly 1 week after they signed for the RFE packet to get a log in failed.

Yah im not useing the DS-230 cover sheet its the Check list review one but i called 3 times and 3 diffrent people told me that i could use eather one. The DS-230 one or the RFE one they sent before. they said just as long as there's a barcode on it its fine.

I dont know they have not sent it to me and they said it may take a week for em to send it out and im not waitting that long. They have what they need they need to deal with it. And 3 diffrent people told me that it would be fine so they better know what there talking about.

this is sickening...they should expedite ur process cuz they lost your document.....its not a joke...how do you lose somebodys document....and then send them RFE...sorry to tell you this..but usually RFE's waste about a week....but hopefully they will hurry the process and complete the case as they are partly at fault for this RFE

Ha unless you are me, then it wasted almost a month for me.... I had to wait for my husband to send me the document (which he should have done in the first place..but he didn't want to listen to me)

Hmm i missed the feb interviews, the consulate already has the list of interviews for feb up. I was told they schedule interviews in the 2nd week of the month and i will need to wait until feb 2nd week at the earliest. From what i have seen with other people, they have received emails scheduling interviews even in the 4th week of the month, but the wait begins yet again. So do they schedule interviews in 3rd/4th week too? is that right ? hoping i do hear back about early march interview in a week or two.

Yes, i asked about interview when i was asking about my of RFE. She said that on they 2nd week of the month they assign them then the 3rd week they give them out.

I hope my case will be complete before then so i can aslo get a March Interview.
