ah, i just want to get over with this. I know now i have to send my wife all the papers including this years W2 and 1099, because i am sure they will ask for it since the interview will be in march.

Yeah I am kind of worried about that too. I will have the W2 form but not my taxes done yet. I would hate to file early but I may end up doing that. Guess it depends if I get all my forms in hand by that time.... :whistle::whistle:

Well, called the NVC and they assigned a case number on 15 Jan 2010! I will call back tomorrow (since i am pretty sure they arent working today) to give them our e-mails. The automated system said allow 6-10 weeks for the benificiary to receive stuff from them??? I guess we can send in the choice of agent now right? I will ask that tomorrow too. Guess i need to get the e-mail formatted so my wife can send it.

Removal of conditions Journey

16 March 2012 Sent I-751 package from Aviano AB, Italy.

29 March 2012 Received everything back...wrong fee. thought we didn't have to pay biometrics since we were sending fingerprint cards and passport photos.

30 March 2012 Sent everything out again from Aviano AB, Italy.

10 April 2012 Check cashed

17 April 2012 Received NOA1 dated 6 April.

06 Dec 2012 Received 10 yr green card. Letter said it was approved 28 November 2012.

Yup call them tommarow. and the 6-10 weeks is not true youll be done with nvc In 6-10 weeks haha they always say that.

INTERVIEW: Mar 12th, 7:00 a.m : APPROVED

POE / ARRIVAL: Washington D.C. April 8th.

Yah haha, no we pay everything at NVC. Just the medical and interview take place at your SO'S country.

Looks like NVC is accepting the email version of DS-3032 really fast since the New Year. This is encouraging. I think I will be joining in the Feb NVC edition. My case is already at NVC but stalled since my dates are not current. I will be a US citizen this Friday and will be able to upgrade my wifes petition and resume processing in Feb.

02-09-2007 : Marriage

I-130 Stage (Filed while I was on Green card)

06-11-2007 : I-130 Sent

08-04-2009 : I-130 Approved

NVC Stage

09-04-2009 : NVC Received

09-08-2009 : NVC case# assigned (Waiting game begins to Upgrade my case to IR-1)

01-22-2010 : Became U.S. citizen (Sent request to upgrade petition from F2A to IR-1 catagory)

02-17-2010 : Case finally upgraded to IR-1

03-20-2010 : Case complete

04-12-2010 : Receiced interview notice.

Chennai Consulate Stage

05-04-2010: Interview Approved!!!!!!

well urs is in january and they shouldnt ask u even for W2's. I am 100% positive u dont have to file taxes but if u do that is a positive sign in your interview.

I wish our interview is in January!! That would mean I would be there all ready!!! :blush: No, it's in February...so they may want the most recent year *2009* W2 and 1099's...

Are you sure that they will ask for W2 and tax papers. If that is the case, why NVC is asking for AOS here?

The AOS that is being asked at the NVC is to establish the Beneficiary will be supported when here. But it is up to the Consulate to approve or not approve in the end. I don't want them to say oh we need the MOST recent year....that'll be my luck not to have it so I am going to make sure I do have it with me!!! :thumbs:

That is if you do not supply them with the email addresses of you and your SO. Call tomorrow and give both yours and your SO email address then you will get everything through email and it is so much more quicker!!! :thumbs:

congrats on having the case number!.. about the choice of agent, you should wait for the DS3032 email from NVC before you can send it back.. they will be emailing this to you in a couple of days after you have provided them your emails.. :)
