I called yesterday and asked whats going on. and they lady said that they do thing diffrent in the mail room. so it will only show up that they got it when someone has it at there desk and is working on it. She said call back on wensday and check. cuz monday is a holiday. (i may call tonight anyways)

No, not yet. Yep, I completely forgotten about the holiday on Monday....It'll come through just when you stop worrying about it MQ....stay strong my friend it'll be a failed log in soon!!!

:D yeah I know about the holidays!!! I have been dragging along since the 4th of July!!! It will feel like it is taking forever but it'll go by before you know it!

It' so weird though,before all of this - holidays and weekends were the best, now I just wish it could be normal weekdays all the time so the service centers etc can be open. Well well,we'll all get there in the end. I's all about believing in it, it'll all be worth it in the end.

One good thing though is that i have developed a little bit of patience,it's not much but it's more then I had before. The waiting is what is the real killer here.

Hey guys i talked to NVC and asked them about my DS-230 and they said that they got something on the 7th but they do not know what it is. So they put a note for a supervisor to look at it. Is this normal? They told me to call back in 10-15 days.

It is exactly as I told you, they can see when something is received but not what exactly it is... means that it is on an officers desk being worked... Your 14 day mark is Next Wednesday... (Thursday with the holiday) hope they get yours updated.

I wanted to ask you guys....is there a way to apply for expedite at NVC?...I know we can do that at USCIS but I am not sure about nvc..I searched and it seems we can apply for it...

BUT...I don't know if its worth it...cuz the process is 15-20 days...if you have everything ready on your side.....so even if somebody gets approved of expedite what is it gonna save you 5-7 days????

so really its not worth it? is it?

oh yeah one more thing..if they do accept the expedite request? does that continue in the consulate as well? I mean will the consulate also make it quick?

MQ- I got the same message. they received something on the 7th. My status was updated last friday itself. so we both are in the same boat, no updates today either. so hoping next week brings some good news. As christeen said, thurs/friday it should be.
