If you wait until the 5th to send it in, you won't get a failed log in for at least a week. So it would be past the 2nd week of the month for scheduling the interviews. I had gotten a case complete on the 10th of December and I missed the 2nd week for scheduling and have to wait for the January scheduling...which was fine by me!!

Hello Ms. A,

Thank you for the information but I am wondering, if NVC is giving interview dates on every second week of the month, why does Myracle and Abbie received their interview dates last week of December? I am kinda confuse on that! Also, may I know the average time for the log in failed or case to be completed after NVC received our DS package? I am really hoping for February interview, I really miss my husband a lot and hoping that we can celebrate our first year anniversary in Las Vegas... hahaha!

MOST of the interview are scheduled on the second week of the month.

But some interviews are scheduled during the other weeks of the month depending on your consulate's availability.

So technically, you COULD get your interview letter ANY DAY.

Please, please pray that I can join NVC in January 2010.

That's very true MQ! But in realization, not everyone posts on VJ too. When I went to the us embassy in Cairo, wow I was surprised by how many people were lined up to get inside the embassy via the immigration side. They had it separated for the those with interviews and the USC side. At first all I could think was man, do I have to wait in a line that was out the door and wrapped around the building?? Then my husband told me no that the USC side you just show them your passport and let you in a special door.

So even though we don't see alot of interviews on here from our countries respectfully, there are quite a few interviews!

I have heard that they post the interviews on the website for the embassy in cairo, but I haven't really looked for it..yet!!!

And yes Metro, it seems to me that the embassy in Phillapines does schedule interviews at any time!! When I called and talked to an OP, twice now, they have told me that they schedule interviews for egypt on the 2nd week of each month anf for me to call back IF I haven't gotten an email with a date on the 3rd week of next month!!:wacko:

I hope you do too!!!

It wouldn't hurt my feelings if my hubby got a later interview date, even though I miss him like crazy, with all this traveling during the holidays, the extra time would help me save more money up so I can stay a little longer with my husband!!
