NVC January 2010 Edition!!

Ugh, I called NVC and after waitting 20min! i get this guy! I wanted to hang up before i even gave him the Case number. he had this Sound of Death, and i could hardly hear him. So i asked have the Received the DS-230 (I just wanted to know if they got it, like when they got my (AOS) And they Told me they got it and its under review) and he is like its not updated. and im like ..................... then im like so you cant tell me if you guys got it or not? And he says "No, its not updated, but once it updates we will be able to tell you. I dont get it eather you got it or not? Was he trying to say there system is not updated right now? He did not wanna talk and was not helpful. I get so annoyed i was on the line for 20min waitting. God when will i be done with this. I hate Waitting at NVC! Ok im done with my Rant lol

OK, so here is how it works there in regards to the 230 pakcage (I had one of the cooperative operaters explain it to me once) they get the 230 package and it is scanned in and signed for, when the operators look at your file, it shows up as the DS230 package received... Once it is taken by an agent to review, the operators can no longer see what exactly is being reviewed, it just shows a "package" recieved and under review... That is all good, it means it is physically in the hands of an agent and being reviewed... Keep checking the website as that is updated first before the operators screens...

I have obtained my last 3 years of IRS tax return transcripts

Can I send these in ALONE without the physical returns and W2's etc?

To clarify, are transcripts a suitable substitute for tax returns?

I think it was him and i have gotten him i think 2 times before this. I HATE! when he answers! lol its like he dose not care and he was like rushing threw everything. I however was very nice still cuz like i said i dont want him to Delete my case.

I was not clear. Let me re-ask the question

I have tax transcripts. If I send in my tax transcripts for 2006-2008, do I still need to send in the full returns with my I864?

Or do tax transcripts simply supplement the full tax returns?

Bottom line - are the full printed tax transcripts mandatory?
