My hubby is worried about me going also. he was soo happy before all this airport stuff came out he bas been begging me for 2months to go an i could not. and as soon as i tell him ill come in about 1 month this happend lol

Not after the wedding.

This will be my first trip back to egypt since the wedding too...but hell or high water won't keep me from going over there!!! Now, coming back might be tricky!!! :whistle:

Exactly!! Insha'allah!!

I don't know though, I would probably let them scan me if I had a choice, but it sounds like they will either scan you or do a pat down. I would rather have a pencil skectched outline than somebody putting their hands all over me!! If it makes it a safer flight than I would do it.

I am hoping to make my reservations by this weekend!!! This is driving me nuts with all the waiting!! :wacko:

yeah I also googled backscatter xray images and saw quite a few too. I also found an article where some images from the equipment used in somewhere actually made it to the internet. So much for keeping it private. I think they have alot of work to do on this. No wonder they are only "testing" it out on a few locations. It's sad that it has come down to this for security.

:whistle::whistle: I called and got the same old message....yes you have a case complete, and we will schedule interviews the 2nd week of the month, if you haven't gotten an email, please call back on the 3rd of the month....

After hearing that 3 times, I finally got the email!! But it was no where near the 2nd week of the month!!!

How long after i send the DS-230 will the get it? i know someone signed for it but they say its not there yet. I wanna know i dont wanna call every day but i also dont want to Keep trying to log in if its not even under review yet. IDK. maybe ill call today. maybe just wait till monday.

MQ, wait until next week. WIth our papers, someone signed for it on the 24th but it was not on review until the 29th. Even our papers reached NVC i think it will take time to reach the right office or person. Don't worry, soon it will be alright and you will have case complete soon!

Don't make yourself crazy MQ! Just wait a week before calling them. I know that it took a good week after they signed for it before I started to worry. Now if you don't hear anything or any change logging in after 2 weeks THEN I would start calling them!!!! I know that it seemed that everyone was getting a failed log in after a week of them signing for the packet. Except for me, I got a RFE :blush:
