I just called NVC and they said my (AOS) has been approved. But they have not gotten the DS-230 i think i takes them longer to Get it from the Mail room. cuz i know someone signed for it. But im happy the (AOS) got approved it was only 2 weeks i think with Holidays so i hope the DS-230 is the same!

But im kidda worried they said its not shown as recived but someone signed for it is that normal?

Don't worry about that Metro!! That is the standard time frame they gave me too! And I was extremely surprised when we got the email with the interview date in it!!!!

We got a case complete on 12/10/09 and I called the NVC to see how long it would take before they would assign interviews and they gave me the same routine....We schedule interviews the 2nd week of the month, if you don't hear from us then call us on the 3rd week..etc.... Anyways to much to our surprise when we got the interview email on the 29th of Dec.

If I remember correctly, alot of people from the Phillapines were getting their interview dates really early on..so that shows that the 2nd week of the month isn't necessarily true!!!! I am so happy for you!!!

ok guys i just got off the phone with NVC and i am pissed the lady i spoke to today told me that the IV Bill was generated and i can go ahead and pay the $400.....I called just now and was told that they sent the request for the bill but it was not generated as of yet and that the only reason it allowed me to pay the IV Bill is because the DS-3032 was accepted so i get so mad i start going off so the operator told me don't stress it will be fine just give us a call mid week next week to make sure the fee is credited correctly and still print the cover sheet and submit your docs once the status shows PAID...UUUUUURRRRRRGGGGHHHHH WHAT AN IDIOT I SPOKE TO TODAY AS IF I WAS DYING TO GIVE THEM MY MONEY TO SIT ON ....WELL I HOPE THIS LADY I JUST SPOKE TO KNOWS WHAT SHE'S TALKING ABOUT BECAUSE NOW I JUST WANT TO GO OFF ON EVERYONE

I think so MsSheka. While writing the message to you and MQ, I was talking my husband and asking him to check it but we checked it at the same time! It feels good. I can't believe it, I am expecting it next week at least. I think NVC are trying to move faster for 2010. hahaha!

Our IV bill was available before we got the email telling us to pay it but there has been plenty of people who paid it before they actually got the email. It usually takes a couple of days and they catch up with each other. Just keep watching your checking account to see if whether or not the $400 is deducted out or not. Usually it takes a couple of days to show paid on the website once they do deduct the money out.

If it still shows available to pay..WAIT..do not pay it again!!!! It will eventually change to paid so you can print out the cover letter!!! All is good!!!

Have you check if your $400 bill is showing online? I think you can pay it as long as it shows on the payment site! then just wait for the bill to show PAID. But if you want to make sure, try to call again and hope you can talk to a different operator. Everything will be fine!

It actually showed NOT PAID earlier and i called them to find out if it was ok to pay and they said yes that the bill was generated thats why it shows NOT PAID but i now learned from someone else that the only reason it showed NOT PIAD is because the DS-3032 was ACCEPTED not because the bill was generated so i paid it ahead of time even though they are the ones who told me to pay it

MsSheka: wow! that was fast! we sent our ds3032 and paid aos bill morning of january 7.. now waiting for ds3032 to be accepted and for aos bill to show as paid..
