Getting ready to submit the AOS package feels like the first few days of preparing the I-129F again.

First of all, I want to know: Is Dr. Arnold still active? Does he entertain people living in any part of this country?

Now here's my story:

I took the medical exam at St. Luke's on October 13 this year and had three vaccines: MMR, Tdap, and HPV on October 14. In my DS 3025, MMR is indicated as complete while HPV and Tdap are under "insufficient time interval." I assumed that meant I ought to get HPV and Tdap shots again when the right time comes from the first dosage. Now that the HPV vaccine is no longer necessary, I'll only need Tdap.

My husband and I went to a CS in Inglewood, CA this morning. The attendant said that I musn't get another Tdap shot because that's only administered every 10 years. Instead, I should be getting the Hepa B vaccine. However, in my DS 3025, it states that Hepa B is age inappropriate for me.

Is it true that I am not supposed to have another Tdap shot and should be getting the Hepa B vaccine instead?

I have been calling some CS in this part of California but just like the first CS in Inglewood whom my husband and I went to this morning, they want me to take the TST and HIV tests. I said I already had all tests in the Philippines. They just answered that the law says in order for the CS to sign the I-693, I must either take the tests again or present proof of my medical exam in October well, I'm sure the law doesn't really say that). I only have the DS 3025 and chest Xray film from St. Luke's.

Any thoughts about this puzzle?

The Tdap issue was also my problem before. My hubby called the Health Department here and they confirmed that I need another shot of Tdap. However when I went to the vaccination clinic and the CS clinic, both said I don't need it. Anyways, I didn't get another Tdap shot. But I got Hepa B and Influenza shots instead.

Also, they had my chest X-ray cd read and included it in the I-693.
