Hey guys and Wyatt, I can HEAR you, man! Nutty, indeed!

I got a new camera -- a teeny little Canon 10Megapixel Elph! I love it.... I got an awesome Columbia sweater, awesome books, Godiva Chocolate, a cool reading light, book illuminator and some antique framed prints. Pretty awesome, i must say, i loved everything and it was all super thoughtful and sweet. had a BLAST with the family, ate well, hung out and played. Oh i also baked like a freak and I baked like a FIEND. I used my Slap chop from Wyatt on my pecans for pecan pie and i used the gratey on cheese for pizza!

:D

Hope you're all having fun.

:)

LGG

I know Lgg was excited at the prospect of his lovely nuts! She's pretty nutty to begin with though. :P

Ha! How cool is that! I got a beautiful Columbia fleece jacket from my lovely wife plus some other stuff. Glad the SlapChop came in handy!

Now as for the Elph, you're going to have to do a video montage of you posing with it like the Avril Lavigne commercial. Rowr!

We got a whoooole bunch of stuff but my most favorite so far is my Hello Kitty toaster. It imprints Hello Kitty on the face of the toast when used.

Hubby is going to have the best damn toast in his office, I tell ya.

So many people I know got the Wii this year! I'm thinking of treating myself to a after Christmas present :D

I'd really like to get the Wii Fit and the Active...we'll see though.

Like I said in an earlier post, John and I did pretty well with the gifts, but the best present we got this year was the ability to give a few kids a nice Christmas.

We usually buy a toy for Toys for Tots for John's work. But this year, we went a little further. We bought 2 toys for Toys for Tots, and we adopted 2 kids from the Angel Tree that his work sponsored.

Two Kids who got what they asked for, and then some. Made us feel really good. I could have spent the money on us, but the feeling we got from being able to do something good, was probably the best present of all :)

Plus, it gave me a chance to know what it feels like to buy Christmas presents for kids...good practice for when we have them

Yeah, even my 58-year-old mother bought one shortly before Christmas...the Wii and the Fit. Quite fun and can be a good workout if you stick with it! Even though my Wii Fit age is 40... <_<

We got the Wii Fit Plus for Christmas and it's pretty awesome! But rather difficult! You need to have good balance to do a lot of the games and I'm pretty wobbly and all over the place  Apparently it will help me improve it in time.

I've been a hockey goalie since I was 6, and I've always had good balance...just gained a few pounds when I stopped playing. Now that I am playing again, I'd like to speed up the process of losing some weight

It might be a good investment...cheaper than a year's membership at our local gym!

The Wii Fit is good, but it won't replace a gym membership.

Oh I know that...but I have a bad habit of getting a membership and then never using it. Mainly because by the time I get home from work, it's 7pm and I don't feel like leaving my house.

I was actually more interested in the Wii Active rather than the Fit for right now.

Plus, it's another excuse to have fun :D

speaking of the Wii..

this year we decided to get our niece and nephews a PS2 for Christmas.. they didn't have any game systems so we knew they would love it... so the time to open presents comes and I purposely didn't let them open our gift till the very end.. so they open it and are super excited and thanking us etc... well then their mom pulls out this other present that is from one of my husband's cousins... guess what it was?? a darn-blasted Wii.. well of course the kids were even more excited about that :P

then to add insult to injury we stopped by today to drop off something and one of our nephews greets us at the door with "WE love our Wii" :crying:

Yeah, it takes awhile for kids to learn discretion and tact.

Come to think of it, some never do... :P
