LUD LUD LUD LUD.... bah. My wife getting the EAD is a charm, but whats with the LUD's? Think it's safe to assume the GC approval is going to happen sans the interview?

Thanks

I'm not positive about AOS for K3, but I think you can only expect an approval without an interview if your I-485 case has been transferred to California.

ETA: Looks like you're adjusting from a non-family based visa though?

But wait.....I'm confused......it says his "Local Office" is New Jersey.....he wouldn't file in California if he's in New Jersey.....he must have gotten transferred.

Yeah, I'm finding the timeline a bit confusing. Maybe he will shed some light...

Does that make a difference in your chances of getting transferred to CSC?

That's what I'm not positive about. I wouldn't see why it would be any different, but I only know for sure from my own experience that AOS from K1 cases often get transferred to CSC and approved without interview.

It is unlikely that a case where someone is concurently filing I-130 and a I-485 would be transfered to CSC... from what I have seen over the last year is that some K1 and K3 are getting transfered to CSC and approved without interview.... but of course remember that both K1 and K3 have already had interviews to get the Visa...

I may be wrong

I'm pretty damn sure that there is at least one person on this board who has got CSC transfer from who filed I-130 and I-485 together. Maybe my memory is fading, but I remember a case where the person received the I-130 approval letter after they got their green card. I'll go hunt the forum.

I got my I-130 approval after I had been approved for AOS... but still had to have interview.... I do not remember anyone who has done AOS from anything other than a K1 or K3 getting transfered to CSC and being approved without an interview....

But as I said I may be wrong...

I may be remembering wrong. Another thing I have been wondering, has anyone got a 10 year GC without interview, or only the 2 year provisional? I guess if only K1's are getting GCs without interview then this question has already been answered!

Whoa, you guys woke up :)

Anyway, my wifes apps were all set to Chicago. (CSC)

LUD, is a latest update. Call it touch, NOA.. whatever you like :)

No visa involved, we filed for AOS family based.

As far as I know, the approved 765 and pending 131 are in Missouri at the NBC.

Assuming the 130 and 485 will be sent to Newark NJ, our local DO.

I see while scouring timelines here and elsewhere that most folks in my date range

have their EAD and AP approved, and at least an interview letter with a date pending.

My curiosity is based on have seen somewhere that no AP approval, and no interview notice

by this stage of the game, along with the myriad of online updates could mean an

approval letter for the Conditional 2 yr PR card is forthcoming.

Just tring to see if anyone else in in the very same boat, or has sailed this path recently.

Thanks

You're getting mixed up I think, CSC is the California Service Center. Chicago is just the lockbox.

Edited, because I didn't read you post! :)
