Brussels sprouts = gas. More of a summertime food that can be eaten outdoors, not good in our energy air tight homes in the winter months.

I'm neutral on the subject of Brussel sprouts - to me they taste like cabbage, and I'm cool with cabbage.

To me they're like cabbage with a hint of horseradish....yummy....

Amby.....Dissapointed that you didn't provide a recipe, but I understand your current condition.

That said, here is my recipe:

1 pound raw brussel sprouts............

Peel the outer 4-5 leaves of each sprout

in boiling salted water, cook the sprouts for 3-5 minutes or until tender. Drain.

In a saute pan, melt 1 TBSP butter with 1 TBSP olive oil.

Add the sprouts, 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp pepper. (preferably fresh ground)

add 2 TBSP honey. Toss the sprouts to coat with the honey.

When well blended, serve.... Sweet with bitter = heaven.........

Forget the honey and grind some nutmeg over them - yummmy!
