Good morning everyone

Did anyone try to call USA consulate in Cairo lately ?!!

I tried to call the USA consulate in Cairo yesterday and today and no answer !

I don't know if they have a problem with the phone or what !

Moh, could they have closed early for the holiday? I wouldn't imagine they would have closed today but Christmas Eve is tomorrow.

yes the same happened to me today , i was on phone waiting anyone to answer for 30 min and until my arm is numb so i hanged up and i didn't know what's their problem .

i don't think it's a problem in their phones but maybe they are just too busy to answer or something.,,, this is not the fisrt time by the way and the same happened to me last week .

the consulate is working normally starting next sunday as it shows in the interview schedule on their site so i am sure they are not on holidays or so .

hope fully they will answer on sunday .

If U want them to Answer Call this No. 090070600 this No for the Embassy for any Info and Appotment ..Minute = 5 LE

Consulate : Egypt

12-Jan-2010: I-130 Filed

12-Jan-2010: I-130 Approved

21-Jan-2010: Packet 3 received

23-Jan-2010: Medical Done

27-Jan-2010: Medical Sent

08-Feb-2010: Packet 4 received

07-Mar-2010: Interview date

10-Mar-2010: Visa issued!

15-Mar-2010: Visa in hand!!! Al Hamdo Lellah

Well i checked their holidays Schedule and it says they are off tomorrow '' Dec 24 , 2009 '' for Christmas .

they will answer you but after 45 min of being on hold waiting for them , try again now and keep waiting until they answer you

I just called them now and they answered my call after 14 minutes of being on hold !

Still no news for me Sara :(

I asked the woman if there any updates ? she says no .an i asked her if they received my fiancee's interview result from DOS .she says that she can not see that on their system .and she says that the case is still under CO review .

I don't know whats going on ?!

Am i going to be under administrative processing forever ?!!

I hope that we both Sara will hear good news soon .
