Yep, keeping those hormones out of animal feed would help with both...Having animals roam the pastures instead of standing in one place for their entire lives would help too (more muscles, less fat). It's all connected.

I agree with you both. Some farmers are moving towards organic and as more of them do the price will drop.

After WW2 food was only good if it was processed. Look at white bread. Practically devoid of any nutritional value. I read the South Beach Diet and the Dr says if you sit down at dinner that white bread is worse than ice cream. If you have a choice choose ice cream over the white bread every time.

Mad cow disease is a non-issue. 157 people worldwide have died from it total. Much bigger problems. I bet more people have died from shark attacks than mad cow over the last 15 years (close at least).

The 'mad cows' never killed anyone from attacking them...and as far I know the deaths from shark attacks did n't come of the plate! lol
