Thank you again. I'll post the link of the dress after I get home from work tonight.

Now... you know how when you see the soup pot steaming but you have to stick your stupid finger in it to see if it's hot anyway? Well, I'm sticking my finger in and I hope someone can help me...

I am presuming we are now in the stage where the Embassy and DOS kick our case back and forth making determinations regarding the visa issuance. I am also shaking in my shoes fearing this is the stage where they either issue the @#* thing or return the petition or torture us with more stupid security checks. Is this correct?

*Explodes and waits for the janitor to come and clean up all the little pieces*

Well, I'm presuming that's IF they determine everything is ok... I just can't remember the stupid process and I'm all nerves now. (See? I'm one of those dorks who tries to over-prepare instead of just sighing and going about business... somebody shoot me please?)

Hope it's good news Jean! Hope we BOTH get good news soon! :P

Ditto that!! You two gals have been waiting a long time. Sending good vibes your way.

Since I don't really post here much anymore, I did get an email last Thursday that said he should have his visa in 10 working days. I'm still not holding my breath thoough......feeling A LOT how Jean feels now since we've been told 4 times he would have his visa shortly only to be told later he was back on checks.

What's bugging me is I have no idea how long processing has been complete. It's been 3 weeks since I called DOS. Again, if anyone could brush me up on the procedure after checks are completed, I would appreciate it. I know it was discussed somewhere in our little nook, but I can't locate it. I'm sure others would appreciate it too for future reference. I'm kind of assuming after the first week of next month might be a good bet on hearing something?

Thank you. I'm "hopeful" but pensive. Many have heard these words before and experienced delays. There are other things going on behind the scenes that have added a crushing amount of pressure to Mohammed and I and this really would be a HUGE answered prayer. If you haven't noticed, I've been more uptight then usual. (haha) Anyway, I'm giving it another month.

Amy, I think you guys will have your's in hand before we do. You sure do deserve it. (my hands are shaking)

Jean, Amy - You two were among those I specifically thought of this morning when I rec'd my good news - I pray that you insha'Allah will feel the relief and joy I'm feeling firsthand :luv:
