I woke up to this email from the Embassy. It sounds good. I'm hopeful it means we're about a month away. Hopefully they won't change their story...

Kindly note that, the administrative process came to conclusion.

The consular officer is currently reviewing your case. Your visa will be issued soon and mailed to your address.

I called Mohammed to tell him. He was sleeping and almost incoherent but hopefully this gave him a reason to think happy thoughts today. God knows we both really need it right now.

Dec. 24, 2006 - Said arrives in NOLA, just in time for the holidaze!

Dec. 31, 2006 - OUR WEDDING!!! Ringing in a New Year as husband & wife!

Jan 8, 2007 - applied for SSN

Jan 15, 2007 - recieved SSN

Feb 6, 2007 - checks cashed for AOS/EAD/AP - YAY!

Feb 8, 2007 - NOA1 on AOS/EAD/AP

Feb 14, 07 - touched EAD/AP

March 8, 07 - Biometrics appt in NOLA

April 17, 07 - AP approved

April 19, 07 - EAD approved

This is excellent! I hope it is soon. After all we have seen I realize that it is hard to believe anything until our loved ones are actually here in the states, but all signs point to a visa soon. Please keep us informed.

Thank you. I'm "hopeful" but pensive. Many have heard these words before and experienced delays. There are other things going on behind the scenes that have added a crushing amount of pressure to Mohammed and I and this really would be a HUGE answered prayer. If you haven't noticed, I've been more uptight then usual. (haha) Anyway, I'm giving it another month.

Amy, I think you guys will have your's in hand before we do. You sure do deserve it. (my hands are shaking)

Guys, it's weird, but I'm just numb. I should be bouncing but just too wary until I know TNT knocked on his door.

Ironically, I found the wedding dress I want to wear and showed it to Moh last night. He went crazy.

That's so exciting! After all of this stress it's nice to have something fun to look forward to and to begin planning for your new life instead of just worrying all the time, which this process makes us do. Do you have a picture of the dress you can post or a link you can send us?

I'm in serious wedding planning mode right now, so I get excited over seeing everyone else's plans!
