You need to include your tax information for the past 3 years as well.

The co-sponsor needs to include their tax returns, W2's/1099's and all forms associated with the tax return. A letter from their current employer stating position, salary/wages, and length of employment would be good as well. A few recent check stubs too.

Better to put the Document Cover before the Cover Sheet. I don't think it will really matter. I'm not sure if you write your case number on the right hand top part of all the papers, but I believe you have to write the case number. When are you sending the DS 230/IV package?

Wow!!! 6-9 months??? that is crazy, your husband should get refunds! How crazy??? We are only waiting for the Barcoded Coversheet for the $400 bill to show PAID and be printed so my mother in law can send them hopefully on the 23rd. The AOS pacakge will be sent tomorrow as well!

I don't think it will matter if the case number is on left or right as long as the Case number is there! hehe!

  • 6 months later...

Hello Muslimqueen,

I am so glad to find a fellow Palestinian on here! I am actually from America, but have been living here in the West Bank for 5 years.

Anyhow, I was wanting to know how to fill out my I-864 when I have not even been employed for the past five years.

Is it enough to give them a letter explaining unemployment? Because I have not even filed taxes for the past 5 years, and haven't needed to.

I already have 2 joint sponsors, but I was mostly concerned about how I was going to have to fill out my AOS.

Thanks a lot!
