So far this month I have gotten sick, had to have the refrigerator repaired, had to get new brakes for the truck, had to get new tires for the truck, had to have the A/C fixed on the truck and had the kitchen remodeled. Phew, so much for Christmas presents. Sorry everyone, I had to scratch you from the Christmas list. :(

Merry Christmas!

kitchen remodel :dead:

the kitchen was melting so brought on the necessity of a remodel. I didn't even replace the cabinets and it was still a fortune but does look a 1000 times better now.

Well, I'll stop waiting by the mail box. Merry Christmas.

Sorry, hit the wrong key and won't let me edit my own post.

Always something always going around, in my own paranoid way of thinking, the medical and drug industry does that to make more money. Hey, they indubitably have a motive.

In regards to everything else and with all the ####### on the market, inevitably, something will always go wrong. First question, should I repair or replace it. I remodeled my own kitchen, and half of my son's with his brand new home, but all his stuff was new, his contractors just did a shitty job of installing it. And it's easier to fix a lot of stuff yourself than to battle them.

I had to get myself EPA 608/609 certified back in 94 when that stupid Gore said refrigerants were killing the ozone layer. Didn't have to know a damn thing about AC to pass that test the EPA itself wasn't even smart enough to write so they went to 3rd party sources. Had to do that so I could continue to buy refrigerants, have to show a certificate now. Just briefly read over the new EPA regulations and aced the test and pay the fee. You always have to pay a fee with the government. Then the price of refrigerants skyrocketed. The AC shops I have encountered charge 2-5 times as much that I can earn as an engineer and send the stupidest people out to make repairs.
