Hi all,

ok I'm filling out my G-325A and making sure I fill out all my residence and employment correctly.

1. During the last 5 years I've spent quite a bit of time travelling, so no residence address - what do I put down for that? Just 'travelling' and then the dates?

2. During these dates I haven't been employed either so in the employment section do I put down 'unemployed' or 'travelling' or both?

3. Also what about education? I've done some further education so in the employment section do I put 'student' in the occupation section?

4. I'm going to need to attach extra sheets - anything I should be careful of there apart from replicating the table and continuing the information?

Many thanks

I hope they accept that you haven't had a job or a place to live. But you must have had a mailing address somewhere, if it was me I would just use my mailing address as my address, but for work, that won't look good. You do need to have a job now for sure and I don't know what you will do when it's time for the interview and they ask for your last tax return.

I hope it works for you, I believe that a US citizen has the right to marry whoever they want and job and place to live shouldn't matter, but they make the rules.

Putting student might help, you can say that you were furthering your education so you can have a good paying career. I don't know, your situation doesn't look good, but the main thing is that you have a job now and you make enough money for their minimum requirements.

Hey, sorry: this is for the foreign fiance (who must also fill out a G-325), not the US petitioner.

Thanks!

Yeh...we are starting filling as well... and in my case im the alien fiance so yeh...i've been in college and having lots of temporary jobs so i even had jobs of one day or one week...then some months unemployed but being student the whole time...

Anyway i think your fiance (thats what we've been talking and what i'm going to do) maybe should write unemployed when she has been unemployed since the final purpose of this section is know what kind of jobs the person has been working for...

Then she can attach a paper explaining some notes about the employment thing or some just say...in my situation i had one week or one day jobs sometimes but in the form is from month to month so i just write just say february to february but in the attached paper i explained was from day whatever to day whatever and i want to clarify the reason i had temporary jobs is because i'm student so i deal better with exam dates etc this way...

If i'm wrong someone tell us please.

Merry xtmas to the OP and all of you

1. You must have had an address for mailing, parents?

2. Unemployed

3. The G-325a does not ask about education. Do not answer questions that are not asked.

4. Extra sheets for what? No residence, no job and education isn't listed, what on earth do you need extra sheets for? If you must attach extra sheets (??????????) then make sure the sheet is clearly marked what it is in response to, your name as petitioner and beneficiaries name.

The extra piece of paper would be for listing all addresses and employment. I've lived more places and had more jobs than there is room for on the sheet. The example sheet available for download from the K-1 process guide on this website states to include an extra sheet for this. That's where I'm getting that idea from.

Thanks for all the replies so far!
