In the egyptian dialect, most words commonly transliterated to begin with an A are instead transliterated with an E

I'll add an Egyptian proverb then for E

*Ahem* not just in Egypt. I believe the word to which you refer is pretty well known in ALL Arabic-speaking lands

I was wondering how this alphabet game will proceed, considering all the Roman letters that don't exist in Arabic, or the Arabic sounds that don't exist in the English language... but I guess where there's a will... there's a way !

Its kinda hard to do, I know. But use the sounds...that will make it easy in some cases where its hard.

If this is too hard we can change it the other way. Tell me a word in English and translate to arabic, what do you think?

Sorry, I am taking away from the fun trying to understand the rules. I suggest we follow an Arabic alphabet chart and remember left-to-right. Transliterate the arabic word (write in Arabic too if you have the capability) and the English translation? Just a suggestion... your thread, you make the rules

No rules I'm just making it up as I go along...your suggestion sounds good to me, does anyone have an objection to this? I wanted it to be easy for beginners so hopefully everyone can follow along
