NJ airport is fabulous, I always use this one after trying many others! Very professional, fast and friendly.

I haven't been through Atlantic City but very recently, we went on a trip to TN (Nashville and the Smokies). Best I could find was a flight with Allegiant Air out of Clearwater / St. Pete into Chattanooga, TN. Both are tiny airports and both were fast, friendly and efficient. No hassles and no delays. At Clearwater / St. Pete, you can actually walk from long term parking to the terminal in less than a minute.

Oh, and the fare was less than $90.00 r/t per person. You just can't beat that.

So they might be right. This whole airport might just be a taxpayer-funded boondoggle, unlike the awesome 100%-private-sector-funded airports they use!

You live in NJ- don't you know yet how these "massive expansion" plans work? They're all mob rackets. Better than a public or private funded project is a mob-operated one. You get the best of taxpayer funding and government inefficiency, all mixed with private-sector profit motive. And some bashed-in knee caps to boot!
