No receipt acknowledgement email from CSC

Hi all,

We received our RFE on 29 June. Returned 5 July to CSC. We still have not received the standard email about receiving it and further processing.

Should I be worried? Not sure if I should blame CSC or my fiance right now! The stress is taking its toll on our relationship and I daren't mention it for risk of an argument.

Any thoughts?

Have you received any confirmation from CSC? If not, relax, it takes time. They (CSC) are so bogged down now, it may take a little extra time to get that confirmation. Do not let this interfere in your relationship, it is out of your control. Take it easy. Advise your Fiance of the IMBRA delay' and press on. You will get there. This is a sure thing, just takes time.

09-08-06: Biometrics Appointment

09-25-06: I-485 transferred to CSC

09-28-06: I-485 received at CSC

10-18-06: AOS Approved

I had the same problem. The status was not updated for 7 days, and my fiance actually called CSC to inquire whether they received our respond to RFE, then they said Yes and I received the email the same day. Why don't you try calling? You will have to be on hold for more than 30 min but it may worth it.

CSC took 10 days to finally acknowledge my returned RFE. I had been wondering also.

* AOS approved @ 7-9 interview, told to expect green cards 5-30 days

You should here something by now, I sent mine out a couple days before you did and got my first NOA a couple weeks ago. Now let the waiting game begin. With the way things are going, they are currently processing March 07, 2006 cases right now. From what I figured it's gonna take atleast another 5 months down the road for us JULY people. I just hope not

It took them 2 weeks from the time we sent it to get an acknowledgement. I had noted on their website they said due to volume of incoming correspondence, it is taking them up to 14 days to issue receipt notifications.

04/13/06 - I-129F mailed

04/18/06 - NOA1

08/30/06 - NOA2

09/26/06 - received at NVC

09/27/06 - forwarded to consulate

20/11/06 - visa in my pocket!

14/01/07 - POE

13/04/07 - marriage

27/04/07 docs sent in for AOS, EAD, AP

26/06/07 - biometrics appointment

02/17/07 - AP and EAD arrive

03/03/08 - Infopass - where the heck is my AOS interview?? No one knows!
