Like there were only black cars back in the early 1800's... However, the maker of the car decided to create more colors and more styles, so therefore, having a black car is not discriminatory against the white car.

You refer, presumably, to the Model T Ford, of which Henry Ford wrote: "Any customer can have a car painted any color that he wants so long as it is black".

Model T's were available in multiple colors from 1908-1914, and again in 1926. The years of the famous "only black" Model Ts were 1914-1926.

Cars made by Chrysler, GM and others were available in non-black colors during those years.

None of this has the slightest bit to do with the OP, but then again neither did Joseph's comparison of "discrimination against the white car"
