This is a dumb question but will it be a problem if I still live with my parents? See in our culture (igbo culture) it is not advisable to move out until one is in the process of getting married. They know and love my fiancee and Im in the final stages of getting our own apartment when he comes. Im just so nervous. You know Naija. They can be very unpredictable. I just dont want any surprises. Any suggestions will do.

I think it is pretty common in a lot of cultures for people to live with their parents until they marry. I wouldn't worry about that part too much, I'm sure there will be no question about that.

May 15/07... 10-Yr. PR Card arrives in the mail

Sept. 13/07... N-400 sent to NSC

Aug. 21/08... Interview - PASSED!!!!

Sept. 2/08... Oath Ceremony

Sept. 5/08... Sent in Voter Registration Card

Sept. 9/08... SSA office to change status to "U.S. citizen"

Oct. 8/08... Applied in person for U.S. Passport

Oct. 22/08... U.S. Passport received

Many don't have their own places due to the economy here , Maybe if you send him info on your top 2 choices and pics. He can show that you are looking at one of them ? Just make sure he knows everything he can about your family they like to ask a lot of questions about your family.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

He knows ALOT about my family. And they know alot about him as well. I just dont want any problems.
