Hello everyone,

I am a new member and i hope you will give me some help.

My wife and I filed I 751 in 2007 and got an intent to deny in 2008. We filed more support documents and to this date nothing new. We made many infopass; however, it did not change nothing. We really don't know what else to do. Can we file for my citizenship even though the I 751 is not approved, or do we have to wait for it to be approved first.

Thank you for your help and happy holidays to you all

I don't have an appropriate reply for your query but I'm here to say "welcome to VJ!" There will be other people more suited to answer your questions though.

File for US citizenship and doing so should "jump start" your I-751.

Call your senator at the same time.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

I agree with Dakine's advice. File the N-400 and contact your Senator's office and ask them to investigate on your behalf. Good luck.

I think it depends on why you had an intent to deny.

With more detail we can assist more.

eg: if your NOID was for criminal record ..... you have to deal with clearing that first... some crimes make you ineligible for citizenship (I think)

if your NOID was lack of bona fide relationship ...i would apply that would force them to let you provide evidence of your relationship..

give more detail because there is no blanket answer
