K-3'r waiting for Montreal Interview

Montreal received my packet 3 Aug 31 and I still have not recieved an interview date. I've called the DOS and they say everything is fine with my visa app. but that Montreal has a backlog. Anyone in the same situation as me or can give me a rough idea how long I can expect till I get the interview date. Thanks.

We finished with the NVC in July and just had our interview the 2nd of December. They are really backlogged.

I am still writing the state department and our congressmen to try to get Vancouver reinstated as an interview site.

Really ridiculous to spend all this money and time to go to Montreal. But, I am very happy to have my wife and I together at last.

Be calm. But get a hold of your congressional rep to ask for a letter in your behalf to be sent to Montreal. It can't hurt.

Montreal embassy is the only one that does CR1. Be ready for a very long wait.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.
