as for not having kids, i don't have a very nice view of the world so i don't feel it is right to bring kids into it. i actually think people have kids to give themselves a life, not because the world is a great place to be. they have kids without any consideration to what the kid has to do in this world to maintain a reasonably good life. i just don't want to subject anyone to the challenges that this world demands - it is very hard work and getting more difficult by the day!

So when's a good time to bring kids into this world? I'm sure your parents could have said the same thing about your birth year. Personally, I'd rather be born myself and live my life. My life had it's ups and downs but it was my life and no one else had the same experience. Life can be a heck of lot harder in the past and in other parts of the globe today but Americans are so whiny today it their every whim isn't met immediately- hence the need for credit cards to spend they don't have.

I'm not an optimist by nature but waiting for some golden age to raise kids strkes me as defeatist. Even without your kids, the world will continue on.

i completely understand this response even though it doesn't apply to me.... i'd say more but i don't want to derail the thread again, however if you want a longer response, i welcome a pm.

Brittany Murphy dies at age 32.

They said heart attack, maybe drugs and anorexia? Either way, too young to die. R.I.P.

LOVED her in "Clueless".

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

sad news

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

She seems VERY young to have had cardiac arrest - though the last photo I saw of her, she was so emaciated, she barely looked like herself. Either way, very sad.

It happens but the average age is 65 for a sudden cardiac arrest.

"Many people mistakenly believe that sudden cardiac arrest only strikes elderly men. While risk does increase with age (the average victim’s age is 65), SCA strikes people of all ages; it has claimed victims in infancy, pre-teens, teens, and those in their twenties, thirties and forties. It can happen to men and women, sedentary people and elite athletes, as well as apparently healthy people and others with known heart conditions. Although pre-existing heart disease is a common cause of cardiac arrest, many victims have never had any heart problems and SCA is often the first symptom"
