Sorry, this is probably a dumb question, I just want to be absolutely sure of everything before I make any easily-avoided mistakes.

Okay.

So I'll be moving back to the States at the end of this month on a K-1, getting married early Jan, and then beginning my very long and expensive relationship with the USCIS. :P

I just wanted to know something about filing for the AOS.

On all of our forms related to the K-1 visa, we used my fiance's parents address, just to keep things simple as he was moving around a bit during our wait. Now that I'm coming, we'll be living together in Austin. We already have a house lined up. So when we file this whole new batch of paperwork, can we just go ahead and use our new address in the forms, or do we *first* have to make an official change of address with the USCIS, and *then* file our forms?

Thanks for the help!

It would probably be best to do the official change of address as that is what will be on file. It is pretty easy to do and can be done online.
