It's been said time and again that compensation for teenagers that live at home isn't really relevant when discussing a living wage. Obviously, the teenager doesn't have to earn a living. I'm as liberal as you can get. I don't want any agency setting my wages - other than the one I work for. And I would not at all be opposed to a tiered Federal minimum wage.

I'm not the one dodging the point. You are. Teens typically don't work f/t and wouldn't earn a paycheck they can live on even if they were paid a living wage - i.e. the hourly rate that would afford a f/t employee an income one can live on. Businesses such a BK and McD's would also realize cost savings on the benefits side of the equation (which a teen wouldn't require and not be entitled to as a p/t employee either). A living wage would not eliminate opportunities for teenagers to earn some bucks on the side.
